Cargill began commercial production of EverSweet, a zero-calorie sweetener made with Reb M and Reb D found in the stevia leaf. Cargill partnered with the natural ingredients supplier Evolva to develop the ingredient. The use of Reb M and Reb D allows Cargill to avoid bitter aftertastes and focus on the sweet taste of stevia.
