OAKVILLE, ONT. — Duncan Fulton has been named chief corporate officer at Restaurant Brands International Inc., the parent company of Burger King, Tim Hortons and Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen. In his new role, Mr. Fulton will be responsible for advancing the company’s strategic growth, brand and corporate communications, government relations and franchisee relations.
Most recently, Mr. Fulton was president of FGL Sports, a sporting goods retailer in Canada, and previously was senior vice-president of communications and corporate affairs for Canadian Tire Corporation.
“Duncan has an impressive track record as a retail, agency and government executive, including being widely recognized for driving innovation and speed of execution in all his previous roles,” said Daniel Schwartz, chief executive officer of Restaurant Brands International. “His skills as a brand leader, digital innovator, communicator and his experience running a retail network and working closely with franchisees will be of great benefit to R.B.I. and our growth agenda in the coming years.
