KANSAS CITY — Hostess Brands, Inc. has issued an allergen notice to let consumers know that Hostess Chocolate CupCakes, Chocolate Ding Dongs and SnoBalls now contain whole eggs, both in multipack and single-serve sizes. Kansas City-based Hostess previously issued an allergen notice through Food Allergy Research and Education (FARE) and Food Allergy & Anaphylaxis Connection Team (FAACT).
“Hostess Brands continually strives to produce the highest quality products that taste great,” said Andy Jacobs, executive vice-president and chief operating officer for Hostess Brands. “From time to time, this results in product formulations changes. Consumers should read the package label prior to purchase and consumption of any Hostess product. We are committed to allergen management and care deeply about producing snack cakes that are both safe and indulgence-worthy.”
