CHICAGO — Stéphane Ducroux has been named commercial director for PureCircle, producer of stevia sweeteners. In his new role, Mr. Ducroux will oversee PureCircle’s sales, marketing, innovation and technical departments as well as scientific and regulatory affairs.

Prior to joining PureCircle, Mr. Ducroux was global business head of ingredients at Roha Colors Group. Before that, he spent 18 years with Naturex, most recently as chief operating officer of the company’s Asia Pacific segment. He also held the roles of vice-president of sales and operations, sales director and customer service and logistics manager during his time at Naturex.

PureCircle offers a range of zero-calorie and vegetable-based stevia sweeteners for the food and beverage industry. The company produces Reb M from its Starleaf stevia plants and holds more than 100 patents related to stevia.
