BATTLE CREEK, MICH. — Kellogg cereals will be infused into a full-course menu featuring appetizers, main courses and desserts as part of a partnership between the Battle Creek-based company and pastry chef and Food Network personality Duff Goldman.
On Sept. 12-13, Mr. Goldman will transform the kitchen at Kellogg’s NYC Cafe in Union Square, creating his own menu and dining experience.
“When it comes to creativity, the sky is the limit when exploring exciting, new ways to play with Kellogg’s cereal,” Mr. Goldman said. “It was so fun to get out of my comfort zone and discover the endless possibilities of cereal. Hopefully my creations will inspire everyone to experiment in their own kitchens.”
Kellogg said the menu may include creations from limited-edition cereals such as Pumpkin Spice Frosted Flakes.
The event will be “pay what you want,” with all donations going to No Kid Hungry, a national campaign to end childhood hunger in America. Additionally, guests of Kellogg’s NYC Café will be able to purchase a cereal bowl designed by Mr. Goldman for a limited time, with proceeds benefiting the charity.
