GARDENA, CALIF. — Kalei Soong has been named vice-president of sales at Nissin Foods. He succeeds Michael J. Price, who was promoted to president and chief executive officer in mid-July.
Mr. Soong most recently was vice-president of sales and strategic planning at King’s Hawaiian, and earlier he was director of sales and director of trade marketing and sales at the company. Prior to King’s Hawaiian, Mr. Soong spent 10 years at PepsiCo, Inc. in a variety of roles, including director of sales, director of finance, business planner and regional sales planner. Before PepsiCo, he was a cold drink analyst for Coca-Cola Enterprises.
He received a bachelor’s degree in finance from California State University — Sacramento and a master of business administration degree in finance from California State University — East Bay.
