ATLANTA — Dan Gertsacov has been named to the newly created role of global chief marketing officer for Focus Brands Inc., parent company of Auntie Anne’s, Carvel, Cinnabon, Jamba Juice, McAlister’s Deli, Moe’s Southwest Grill and Schlotzsky’s.
In his new role, Mr. Gertsacov will work with each brand leadership team to maintain and grow market leadership through marketing strategies, menu innovation and digital investment.
Mr. Gertsacov joins Focus Brands from Arcos Dorados, the largest independent franchisee of McDonald’s, where he was chief marketing and digital officer. Prior to that, he worked for Google in various leadership roles, most recently as head of new markets for Google Latin America and Caribbean. Previously, he was vice-president of business development for Univision Networks and chief executive officer of Americas of Lenddo, a venture-backed FinTech start-up.
