PITTSBURGH — Joao M. Castro-Neves, formerly an executive with Anheuser-Busch, has been elected to the board of directors at the Kraft Heinz Co., effective June 12. Mr. Castro-Neves was chief executive officer of Anheuser-Busch, AB InBev’s North American unit, and zone president, North America of AB InBev from January 2015 to December 2017.

Mr. Castro-Neves joined Companhia de Bebidas das Americas S.A. (AMBEV), a predecessor of AB InBev, in 1996. He was chief financial officer from January 2005 to December 2006 and as c.e.o. from January 2009 to December 2014.
