TORONTO — Former PepsiCo executives Leslie Starr Keating and Rebecca Fisher have been appointed to SunOpta, Inc.’s board of directors.
Ms. Keating brings over 31 years of experience at PepsiCo to her new role. She was senior vice-president of PepsiCo’s supply chain from 2008 until her retirement in 2017. Before that, she oversaw the company’s innovation commercialization and service agendas as senior vice-president of commercialization and supply chain.
Ms. Fisher was senior vice-president of human resources, North America beverages for PepsiCo before retirement in December 2018. Before that, she was senior vice-president of human resources, corporate talent management and Latin America talent management. She previously was vice-president of human resources North America customer teams and PepsiCo America Foods, and senior director and vice-president of human resources at PepsiCo.

SunOpta specializes in sourcing, processing and packaging organic, non-G.M.O. and specialty foods with a focus on vertically integrates business models. The company’s food operations revolve around grain, seed, fruit and vegetable-based product offerings.
