MINNEAPOLIS — General Mills, Inc. is set to roll out three new Pillsbury products this summer.
Pillsbury Filled Crescents are billed by General Mills as “the first refrigerated filled crescents on the market.”
“These take the hassle out of baking with an all-inclusive kit containing a can of crescent rolls, packet of filling and packet of icing,” General Mills said. “No extra ingredients or measuring required and ready to bake in five minutes.”
General Mills said the product pairs the flakiness of its homemade crescents with the sweet flavor of warm apple or cherry filling.
The filled crescents have a suggested retail price of $2.99.
Pillsbury Place and Bake Brownies are General Mills’ answer to “an easy, fast and no mess homemade brownie.” Available in fudge, peanut butter and marshmallow varieties, the brownies are available in 12-count packages and are ready in 19 to 20 minutes.
General Mills said the brownies may be prepared individually in a muffin pan with liner for single servings or in an 8 x 8 pan for larger servings.
The brownies have a suggested retail price of $2.80 for a 12-count package.
Proclaiming that “No one knows biscuits better than Pillsbury,” General Mills is introducing Pillsbury Sweet Biscuits with icing. The biscuits are available in two varieties: chocolate chip and blueberry.
“We know that biscuits are a Southern specialty, and as biscuit experts ourselves we saw an opportunity to bring this regional favorite to the country in a unique and exciting way,” General Mills said. “Pillsbury Sweet Biscuits with Icing combine the distinct, unique texture of biscuits with beloved muffin flavors and topped with vanilla icing — a true trifecta.”
The biscuits have a suggested retail price of $2.69 per 8-count package.
