WASHINGTON — The American Baker’s Association’s NextGenBaker group will present the Global Leadership Forum during the International Baking Industry Exposition (IBIE), running Sept. 7-11 in Las Vegas. The event will explore multi-generational challenges facing the baking industry and its workforce.
Taking place Sept. 10 at 5 p.m. in the Las Vegas Convention Center, the Global Leadership Forum brings together a roster of top industry executives and leaders to discuss how companies are leading their employees and reworking talent development programs.
The session will open with two presentations. Robb MacKie, president and chief executive officer of the A.B.A., will speak about workforce issues. Then, Cyrille Filott, global strategist consumer foods, Rabobank, will discuss industry trends. These presentations will be followed up by a panel discussion with Brad Alexander, chief operating officer, Flowers Foods; Carrie Jones-Barber, c.e.o., Dawn Foods; Daniel Servitje, chairman and c.e.o., Grupo Bimbo; and Luc Mongeau, president, Weston Foods. NextGenBaker co-chairs Brent Bradshaw, senior vice-president of core brands, Flowers Foods, and Brandon Woods, regional account manager, AMF Bakery Systems, will moderate the discussion.
