HOERSHOLM, DENMARK — Chr. Hansen plans to establish a campus with laboratories for an additional 250 scientists at its main office in Hoersholm. A new application center will allow Chr. Hansen to work together with its customers to test and make new products. Groundbreaking should take place next year. Chr. Hansen expects the project to be finished late in 2022.
“With this investment we will ensure room for growth and innovation gearing ourselves for the future, which looks promising for a company that offers natural and sustainable solutions to some of the world’s most important challenges such as reducing food waste, feeding a growing world population and reducing the use of chemicals,” said Soeren Westh Lonning, chief financial officer.
Chr. Hansen develops ingredient systems for the food, nutritional, pharmaceutical and agricultural industries.
