CHICAGO — Tate & Lyle’s North American food and beverage solutions business will implement a price increase of up to 12% on specialty food starches, fibers, specialty and high intensity sweeteners, and stabilization and functional systems. The price increases will go into effect Oct. 1, or as contracts allow.
The adjustments reflect an increase production costs, the company said.
Tate & Lyle provides texturants, sweeteners, specialty fibers and stabilizers to food and beverage markets around the world. Its primary products consist of high-volume sweeteners, industrial starches and fermentation products.
