CHICAGO — Tyson Foods, Inc. is bolstering its breakfast offerings with two new Jimmy Dean brand product lines.
New Jimmy Dean Biscuit Roll-Ups wrap eggs, meats and cheese in a flaky biscuit to provide 10 grams of protein per 2-piece serving. Available in boxes of 8, the roll-ups contain 240 to 270 calories per serving and come in three varieties: sausage, egg and cheese; egg and cheese; and egg, ham and cheese.
Jimmy Dean Morning Combos pair breakfast foods such as pancakes and sausages into bite-size meals designed to be eaten on-the-go. Providing 8 grams of protein per pack, Morning Combos come in two varieties: mini maple pancakes paired with maple sausage bites, and blueberry muffin paired with savory sausage bites.
“Breakfast as a meal occasion is evolving, and we’re excited to lead innovation and the development of products that provide options for everyone,” said Steve Silzer, marketing director for the Jimmy Dean brand. “Jimmy Dean Biscuit Roll-Ups and Morning Combos are the latest on-the-go options that help meet a need for a flavorful, protein-packed breakfast in the morning or any time of day.”
