LOS ANGELES — Aryzta North America has named two executives to its senior leadership team.
Christine Prociv has joined the company as vice-president of marketing and innovation. In her new role, Ms. Prociv will lead the La Brea Bakery brand and overall innovation for Aryzta North America.
Ms. Prociv most recently was co-founder and president of Innovation Station for the past eight years. Before founding Innovation Station she was an innovation consultant for PepsiCo and Insight to Action. Earlier, she was vice-president of innovation at ConAgra Foods (now Conagra Brands, Inc.). Ms. Prociv spent 17 years at Kraft Foods in a variety of roles, including senior director of new product development and strategy and senior brand manager and category business director. Prior to Kraft, she was an associate brand manager at General Mills, Inc. She began her career as a financial analyst at Kidder Peabody.
She received a bachelor’s degree in economics at Barnard College in New York and a master’s degree in marketing and finance at Harvard Business School.
Tuan Nguyen has rejoined Aryzta North America as vice-president of procurement. Mr. Nguyen was vice-president of procurement at Aryzta from February 2016 to June 2018 and briefly left the company to serve as an independent entrepreneur. Before joining Aryzta, he spent four years at the Coca-Cola Co. in a variety of procurement director roles. Earlier in his career he spent more than 12 years at Procter & Gamble in several purchasing positions.
Mr. Nguyen received a bachelor’s degree in electrical and biomedical engineering and a certificate in markets and management at Duke University.
