CANTON, MASS. — Francisco “Pancho” Gonzalez has been named regional vice-president of Latin America and the Caribbean for Dunkin’ Brands Group, Inc. In this role, he will assume responsibility for the Dunkin’ and Baskin-Robbins brands throughout the region.
Mr. Gonzalez joins Dunkin’ after more than 25 years with McDonald’s Corp. Early in his career, he spent eight years as a multi-unit franchisee for McDonald’s in Mexico, eventually being named president of the Mexican co-op and later leading the country for the brand as managing director. He then transitioned to McDonald’s Corp. and served in several executive roles, including vice-president of operations for McDonald’s Mexico, senior vice-president of operations for the six countries of the Central America region, and managing director for McDonald’s Mexico.
He was most recently vice-president and general manager of McDonald’s Houston region and before that was vice-president and general manager of the Michigan region. Prior to that, he was vice-president of the greater Chicago region. Earlier in his career with McDonald’s, Mr. Gonzalez was director general and vice-president of operations for McDonald’s Mexico and Central America.
