MONTREAL — Lallemand Baking has announced plans to increase prices of certain yeast products beginning Dec. 1, or as current contracts expire.
The price of Instaferm dry yeast will be raised 10c per lb, while the price of LalˆFerm compressed and bag yeast will increase 3c per lb, and the price of LalˆFerm cream yeast will increase 2c per lb.
“The price increase is a reflection of global substrate increases as well as heavier environmental regulatory demands on our various manufacturing plants,” Lallemand said.
