ATLANTA — Cheryl Barre has been named company leader and chief executive officer of Epi Breads, an Atlanta-based baker of custom bread products. She succeeds Hugh Sullins, who has transitioned to vice-president of business development.
In her new position, Ms. Barre will be responsible for leading the executive team, developing and implementing a strategy for growth through new business development, enhanced operations and acquisition.
Ms. Barre is a veteran of the baking industry, having spent nine years with CSM Bakery Solutions as senior vice-president of business development in North America and global vice-president of ingredients. Earlier, she was chief marketing officer at Arby’s Restaurant Group and also spent 15 years at PepsiCo, Inc. in a variety of positions.
