DUBLIN, IRELAND — Kellogg Co. is ramping up Pringles production in Europe. The company announced a new, $120 million investment in its Pringles plant in Kutno, Poland, located within the Lodz Special Economic Zone.
The facility, which originally produced Special K, opened in 2008. In 2014, the company added a Pringles manufacturing line. Kellogg’s presence in the Lodz Special Economic Zone has added more than 400 jobs to the local economy. The newly announced expansion will add an additional 100 jobs.
The expansion will increase plant capacity by 34%, producing 60,000 tons of Pringles per year, Kellogg said.
“We know that consumers love Pringles and we are seeing continued growth for Pringles across all of our core markets in Europe,” said Dave Lawlor, president of Kellogg’s European business. “This investment means that we’ll be able to increase production of our food to meet the increasing demand we’re experiencing.”
