CHICAGO — Catherine M. Engelbert has been elected to the board of directors of McDonald’s Corp. Ms. Engelbert is the first-ever commissioner of the Women’s National Basketball Association (W.N.B.A.).
Prior to joining the W.N.B.A. in July, Ms. Engelbert was chief executive officer at Deloitte from 2015-19.
In addition to McDonald’s, Ms. Engelbert is on the board of directors for Catalyst, a global nonprofit that works to accelerate women into leadership. She also is on the Board of Partnership for NYC and is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
She received a bachelor’s degree in accounting at Lehigh University and is a certified public accountant licensed in Pennsylvania, New York and New Jersey.
