Hello! I’m Charlotte Atchley, editor of Baking & Snack magazine. I think you’re going to really enjoy what we’ve been working on for our September issue. Let me share with you some of my favorite stories.
First up, is New Horizons Baking Co. Dan Malovany got to visit the company’s newest bakery in Toledo, Ohio, and hear about CEO Trina Bediako’s vision for the company’s future. Trina and her team have a awesome story that is a must-read.
I also really enjoyed Michelle Smith’s trends piece on sourdough. We all know consumers fell in love with sourdough last year, but Michelle explores why and how bakers can jump on that opportunity.
I also think you’re going to get a lot out of Dan’s feature called Heart to Hearth. I know I learned so much about how bakers can leverage oven technology to make a wide range of artisan breads and crackers. If you’re in the artisan baking space, you won’t want to miss this one.
