Independent distributor partners are in supermarkets, convenience stores, and restaurants delivering and merchandising our fresh bakery foods daily. Frozen bakery items and fresh snack cakes sold under the Mrs. Freshley’s, European Bakers, and other brands are delivered direct to customers’ warehouses and are sold in retail, vending, and foodservice outlets nationwide.

Since 1984, a significant portion of Flowers’ products have been sold to and delivered through a direct-store delivery (DSD) network of independent distributor territories. Independent distributor partners (IDPs) are focused on realizing the full sales potential within their territories. Today, Flowers’ DSD network is made up of more than 6,100 territories. Flowers’ bakeries have sold the majority of these territories to approximately 4,000 IDPs who have the exclusive right to sell and distribute certain Flowers products within a defined geographic territory.
