Company hits on the trends driving growth in snacks and prepared foods
Campbell’s Chunky Spicy Chicken Noodle variety is a new take on the classic chicken noodle soup, according to the company. The product is formulated with chicken, carrots, celery and enriched egg noodles in a chicken broth infused with capsaicin, paprika, spices and vinegar.
Is it a soup, snack or both? Campbell’s Soup with Crunch Toppings combines Campbell’s soup with Goldfish crackers and Snack Factory pretzel crisps to create a snack soup, according to the company. The product is available in four varieties, including Campbell’s Classic Tomato with Original Goldfish crackers; Campbell’s Double Noodle with Original Goldfish crackers; Campbell’s Chicken & Rice with oyster crackers; and Campbell’s Tomato and Stars with mini Snack Factory pretzel crisps.
Campbell Soup added another flavor to its line of Pepperidge Farm Goldfish crackers with the introduction of Blasted Cheddar & Sour Cream crackers. Baked with cheese, the snack retails for $2.49.
Campbell’s Pepperidge Farm brand introduced a limited-edition spicy variety of its Goldfish crackers. The product features “a bold, cheesy taste with a slight kick of heat,” according to the company.
The Pepperidge Farm Goldfish brand partnered with Frank’s RedHot, a McCormick & Co. brand, to create Frank’s RedHot crackers. Launched in May, the crackers have a suggested retail price of $2.49 per 6.6-oz bag.
Campbell’s Kettle brand added to its Krinkle Cut potato chips line with the addition of a habanero lime and truffle and sea salt flavors.
Pacific Foods, a subsidiary of the Campbell Soup Co., introduced Creamy Oat Milk Soups and Creamy Plant-Based Broths. Both product lines are USDA certified organic, vegan and made with sustainably sourced ingredients.
The Creamy Oat Milk Soups come in two varieties: cumin carrot and garden tomato. The Creamy Plant-Based Broths are formulated with pea protein and available in herb and roasted garlic, and zesty ginger and turmeric flavors.
Pepperidge Farm expanded its Farmhouse Thin & Crispy line with its first nut-based variety in butter pecan. The new cookies are formulated with butter, pecans, eggs and vanilla extract.
The Snyder’s of Hanover brand added three flavors to the line of Twisted Pretzel Sticks. The flavors included jalapeño ranch, sour cream and onion, and extreme seasoned with features onion, garlic and pepper.
Well Yes! Power Bowls is a line of microwavable soups available in five varieties: vegetable, Southwest style chicken, spiced chickpea, vegetable chili flavor and Cajun style chicken. Protein content in the product line ranges from 8 grams in the vegetable variety to 13 grams in the varieties with chicken.
