Pie Five's new cauliflower pizza crust is gluten-free and contains 40 net carbohydrates.
DALLAS — Pie Five Pizza Co., which operates more than 300 restaurants around the world, has become the first casual pizza chain to introduce a cauliflower pizza crust.
The new crust is gluten-free and contains 40 net carbohydrates, which is less than half of the net carbohydrates in any of Pie Five’s other crusts.
“Cauliflower is rich in vitamin C, vitamin K, health-promoted phytochemicals and anti-inflammatory compounds,” Pie Five said. “It is also an excellent source of natural antioxidants and helps improve digestion and detoxification.”
The cauliflower crust pizza will be available for a limited time through Feb. 11.
