KANSAS CITY — Hostess Brands, Inc. has partnered with Major League Eating to host the World Hostess Donettes Eating Championship. The event is set for June 1 in Philadelphia.

As part of the event, participants will compete to see who can eat the most Hostess powdered Donettes in six minutes. The event carries a total prize purse of $8,000, with first place taking home $4,000 and second place winning $2,000.

Joey Chestnut, the No. 1 ranked competitive eater in the world, is expected to participate in the event.
