ABBOTSFORD, B.C. — Dave Hansen has been named vice-president of sales at Silver Hills, effective Oct. 8. Silver Hills is the parent company of Silver Hills Bakery, One Degree Organic Foods and Little Northern Bakehouse.

In his new role, Mr. Hansen will focus on accelerated retail expansion in both the United States and Canada. He will be pushing to expand Silver Hills’ growth through direct-store delivery networks and to expand the company’s food service presence across North America. He also will oversee sales team growth and mentorship as Silver Hills expands its team to meet the needs of its growing customer base.

Mr. Hansen most recently was vice-president of global sales at Nature’s Bakery since 2015. Prior to Nature’s Bakery he was division vice-president at Tempur Sealy International. He was region vice-president of Snyder’s-Lance Inc. from 2009-2012. He began his career with PepsiCo, Inc., holding various sales roles at the company.

He received a bachelor’s degree in business marketing at Brigham Young University.
