PENNSAUKEN, N.J. — The Vivafil range of preservative-free fruit fillings from Puratos won an American Society of Baking’s 2019 Innovation Award in the Health, Wellness and Nutrition category. Vivafil also contains no high-fructose corn syrup, no artificial colors and no artificial flavors. Vivafil comes in four flavors: raspberry, wild blueberry, apricot and apple. Potential applications include cookies, layer cakes and snack bars.

The entire range of Vivafil flavors are produced at a Puratos facility in Pennsauken. The combination of processing and packaging capabilities, automated cleaning systems and formulation expertise makes it possible to produce the Vivafil fruit fillings without the need to add preservatives, according to the company.
