NEW YORK — Dan Kazmierczak has been named technical sales director at JB Cocoa. In his new role he will be responsible for the company’s cocoa ingredient products, including a full spectrum of cocoa powders, cocoa liquor and cocoa butter.
Mr. Kazmierczak has 18 years of experience in the food industry, most recently working in research and development at Barchemy, L.L.C. Earlier, he worked in technical applications at Nestle USA. Prior to Nestle he was director of application and technical services — compounds and fillings at Barry Callebaut, and he also has worked as R.&D. manager at Blommer Chocolate Co. and systems planning and control specialist at Schulze and Burch Biscuit Co.
He received both a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in manufacturing technology from the Illinois Institute of Technology.
