CII Foods completed a new building in March 2005, located in Leavenworth, Kansas and have expanded twice in recent years. In referring to the plant Robert Hatch-CEO and Founder of CII Foods says, “This facility now houses 7 production lines and allows us to respond to our customers’ needs quickly and efficiently. The latest expansion added nearly 68,000 square feet of additional warehousing, the Leavenworth facility is home to our corporate headquarters, R&D, and sales functions.” The Company produces food particulates that add flavor, texture and color to baked goods, cereals and numerous food applications, as well as pre-blended mixes to create added flavor and swirl effects in bread products. Flav-R-Bites®, the particles are specially formulated for specific client needs, are offered in a variety of sizes, flavors and textures, and are produced using CII’s patented product and process technology. CII’s newest product lines, Nutri-Bites® and Nutri-Crisps®, are produced in the Leavenworth facility which came on-line in June 2008. Direct expanded products consist of special nutritional qualities protein, fiber, and pulse grains. Most Nutri-Bites are used in high nutrition food bars, granola, snacks, as well as Texturized Plant Proteins utilized for alternative meat applications. According to Vice President-Sales Manager, Scott Cowger, “Unlike most fat-based or sugar-based particles, our Flav-R-Bites and Nutri-Crisps stand up to heat, moisture, are shelf stable and CII Foods new slogan is Your Solution Provider!” CII products are available in GMO, Non-GMO, gluten-free and organic formulations. The products are all certified for food purity certified Kosher/Parve and produced under the Islamic certification, Halal. Additionally, CII has achieved an “AA” rating from the British Retail Consortium (BRC) Global Standard for Food Safety. Exciting news for 2022- CII Foods completed a new plant in St. Joseph, MO where they manufacture clusters, granola, panned products and installed a Heat Treatment facility.
